If you haven’t heard of a Lotus Elise, leave now. Great! You’re still here, you liar know-it-all well-informed reader! The Lotus Elise serves as the base of the Rinspeed sQuba, a car that can travel underwater (and on the road, too). It has a laser-guided navigation system in front, allowing it to drive itself (provided you don’t need to turn) in both land and water modes. It’s similar to the surface-only Gibbs Aquada, except has several extra motors/propellers, along with the absence of a roof. That’s right - you will get soaked if you use this car for it’s intended purpose. How do you breathe? An in-car air supply, complete with sQuba scuba goggles.

Read on for a video of a rich bloke hi-jacking the self-driving car, and getting soaked. Feel free to laugh.
